Stephen Tidmore is an Austin-based photographer currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Photojournalism from the University of Texas at Austin. In addition to photography he works as a full-time web designer and developer.

He discovered a love for the camera on a trip around the world during his last semester in college and has been learning and obsessing over photography ever since.

After graduating with a Communication Studies undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin, he worked as an Internet Content Manager and Web Developer for Dell. Three years in the corporate world were enough to convince him to buy a one-way ticket to Spain where he began following his passion for living and working in other cultures. He has traveled or lived in 30 countries around the world, developing his photography skills more and more with each stop.

He has discovered a love for storytelling through photography and is further developing his visual journalism skills through the Master of Arts in Photojournalism program at the University of Texas.
